Terms of Service
Last updated: October 16, 2026
These terms cover your use of Career-Manager. You agree to them by using the app. Read them together with the Privacy Policy.
The service
Career-Manager is a productivity tool for running a job search. It is in beta, it is provided as is, and features can change or be removed as it develops. We do not promise that it will always be available or free of errors.
Not professional advice
Career-Manager helps you keep track of a search. It does not give legal, financial, tax or career advice, and it promises no outcome, no interview, no offer and no salary. The benefits and resources we link to are information only. Rules, deadlines and amounts differ by state and by situation, and the official agency is the authority on them.
Recording calls
You decide whether to record a call, and that decision is yours. Recording laws vary by state and by country, and some places require every person on the call to agree before it is recorded. Career-Manager helps you tell the interviewer that a notetaker is joining. Telling them, and following the rules where you and they are, is your responsibility.
Plans and billing
- Career-Manager is free during the beta and nothing is charged. Beta includes unlimited opportunities, up to 12 recorded calls and 200 Ask AI messages a month. No card is required.
- No paid plan is on sale today. We may offer paid plans later. If we do, the price and what a plan includes will be shown before you are asked to pay, nobody is charged until they choose a plan, and we will give you notice before any charge is made.
- If you do pay for a plan later, you can cancel any time from your account settings. After you cancel, your access continues until the end of the period you have paid for, and the account then returns to the free beta.
Acceptable use
Use Career-Manager for your own job search. Do not use it to break the law, to send unwanted mail, to record people who have not been told, to upload content you have no right to share, or to attack, overload or copy the service.
Your account
You are responsible for what happens under your account, including keeping your email and your Google account secure. You can delete your account at any time in Settings, and you can write to support@career-manager.com to have anything the button leaves behind removed. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Career-Manager is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for lost opportunities, income or data, or for what a third party such as a recruiter, an employer, a calendar or an AI provider does. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits a liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
